In 2002, the Canadian Tulip Festival celebrated its 50th anniversary and Canada Post issued four domestic rate commemorative stamps featuring the tulips 'City of Vancouver', 'Monte Carlo', 'Ottawa' and 'The Bishop'. Just 4 of the 150 known species of this beautiful flower.
