I love collecting stamps. Finding a new one to add to my collection really makes my day. Yes, you can say I belong to that diminishing number of "nerdy" people who collects these small pieces of used paper. Stamps are fun to collect for a lot of reasons:
1) They are very informative. Stamps will make you want to read about a variety of things.
2) There are no rules, your collection can suit your interest and reflect your personality.
3) It covers a great assortment of subjects from science to art, history to sports.There is never a dull moment with stamp collecting.
4) It does not cost much to collect.
5) It is a great stress reducer. You can get lost in this hobby for hours.
6) It is not bounded by time. You can do them anytime, take a rest and come back after several months or years.
7) You can do it alone, or among groups.
