You've Been Warned

Just to set the record straight, I "read" books by listening to audio CDs while in the subway or bus, on the treadmill, in the laundry, or even while ironing clothes. Now, you know why I go through books so fast.

Anyway, my latest book is "You've Been Warned" by James Patterson. I was warming up to it on the 1st and 2nd CD, but as I went on, the story was creeping me out. It is about this girl who keeps on having recurring dreams. I don't know if it is the story telling or me but as I kept on listening the scarier I got. The 3rd CD finally did it, I am not finishing this story.

I am shifting to "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks . I don't care if I'd be shedding tears with this one.

Moral : Actual books or audio CDs, always have a back-up ready. You'll never know how you will like the story until you start them.

If scary books are your cup of tea - try "You've Been Warned", then tell me the ending.
